NTT DOCOMO announces sixteen Android 4.0 phones and a tablet

  And here we thought that Verizon released a bunch of Android devices in rapid succession.  Japan's NTT DOCOMO today announced that they will be offering no less than sixteen (16!) T-Mobile CEO announces restructure in email, says “difficult decisions” made this week

T-Mobile plans to cut a number of jobs as part of a restructuring plan, according to a leaked company email written by CEO Philipp Humm.  Without saying how many will be affected or where the jobs will come from, Humm advises that some "difficult decisions" will be made in the coming days.  We might be reading our own things into the email (below) but it sounds like some middle management spots will be scrapped or consolidated. Sega Announces Sonic 4 Episode 2 Is Heading To Tegra 3 Devices May 16th

We heard about it back in February, and now it looks like Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II is about to start rolling out. Those of you with Tegra 3 chips in your devices, get ready to have your SoCs rocked off*. Everyone else will be waiting for a little while. Sony announces Xperia GX, Xperia SX for Japan

Sony has announced a few more members of its Xperia family, the Sony Xperia GX and Sony Xperia SX. Both handsets are headed for a Japanese release. The highlight of the Xperia GX is its 13MP Exmor R camera sensor, but it also features a 4.6-inch HD display and 1.5GHz dual-core processor. Virgin Mobile announces HTC EVO V 4G

Virgin Mobile customers who have been jealous of the new HTC EVO 4G  and HTC One X don’t need to be anymore. Today, Virgin Mobile announced the upcoming availability of their new HTC EVO V 4G, which will be the first “4G” device to run on the its network. It’s been a minute since Kyocera unveiled an Android smartphone, but their back with two new offerings out of CTIA. The Kyocera Hydro and Kyocera Rise are entry-level handsets running Ice Cream Sandwich atop hardware that includes a 1GHz MSM8655 CPU and 3.5-inch HVGA display. THe Hydro, as its name so cleverly suggests, is waterproof. It can take a 1 meter dunk for up to 30 minutes and emerge in functional form. HTC announces HTC One V to come to US carriers this summer

Looks like HTC have announced that the One V is coming to America, as well. They’re apparently bringing the device to several US carriers and/or retailers this summer, but going beyond that leaves us with no clue in terms of specifics.
