ASUS is ramping up for the launch of the long-awaited Padfone three-in-one concept. The gem of Mobile World Congess, the phone within a tablet within a laptop promises to be one of the most intriguing device rollouts in a long while, but it remains to be seen if the concept catches on with the general public. After uncovering a YouTube video on ASUS’s channel claiming that the soon-to-be-released ASUS Padfone’s battery was capable of up to 102 hours of use when in laptop mode, the folks at Engadget decided the numbers were a bit too good to take at face value. ASUS Padfone Could Be Delayed Due To Qualcomm S4 Shortage

  That rumored S4 shortage might have some truth to it after all. According to a tweet from ASUS Indonesia, a shortage of Qualcomm’s latest 4th generation Snapdragon processors is spelling trouble for the iPad destroying ASUS Padfone launching on time. ASUS was under much fire when they released their ASUS Transformer Prime Android tablet with GPS. While it appeared they would first brush the issue under the rug as the issues weren’t software related and could only be fixed using hardware, they came through and did what very little might do.
