Samsung Admire Leaks: Mid-Range Gingerbread Handset for MetroPCS


  A mid-range handset running Android 2.3 is headed to MetroPCS courtesy of Samsung. The phone is known by model number SCH-R720, but should launch under the Samsung Admire name. The handset is said to house an 800MHz processor and 3.2MP camera, though it won’t be in the good graces of MetroPCS’ 4G LTE network. This one is 3G only. Android 2.3.4 Leaks for the Samsung Galaxy S II


  The folks over at XDA have once again obtained an early release of an upcoming Android update. This time they’ve wrapped their mitts around Android 2.3.4 for the Samsung Galaxy S II, an update that not only adds in enhanced features like Gtalk video chat but also does away with a pesky battery drain bug found in builds of Android 2.3.3. Qualcomm roadmap leaks, expect dual-core Krait soon, quad-core in 2013


The Qualcomm roadmap for the next few years has leaked out, putting a time frame on the chips they announced last February.  According to the leak, we should expect dual-core LTE, HSPA, and HSPA+ chips clocked anywhere from 1.5 GHz to 1.7 GHz to be in the hands of manufacturers late in Q3 of this year, with the Adreno 225 GPU on board.  Come Q3 of next year, we should see the budget version start to make it's way into phones and other connected devices, with a Adreno 305 GPU and a bit lower … [Read more...]

Rough Launch Date For Evo 3D Finally Leaks Online


Well, lookie here… Thanks to one of my Twitter followers, I came across this little gem over on the XDA forums. Qualcomm Leaks Details of Next Generation Snapdragon Processors


  Thanks to a leaked internal document from Qualcomm, we now have a glimpse into the future of what the company has in store for their popular line of Snapdragon processors. Looks like the first of these fire breathing dragons will be based off their new Krait design. New Leaks Confirms April 28th for HTC Droid Incredible 2 Launch


You might remember a supposed Verizon roadmap from a couple weeks back that gave April 28th as the launch date for the HTC Droid Incredible 2. With marketing materials already hitting stores, speculation was mounting that the handset might actually land on April 21st. Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Sense UI Leaks for HTC EVO 4G


A few days after hearing the EVO 4G is included in HTC’s plans for devices receiving the Android Gingerbread update, what appears to be an official build with the Sense UI layer on top had leaked.
