Verizon to offer Galaxy S III, HTC ‘Note’, and Droid Razr HD this summer


The first details of Verizon's upcoming roadmap has landed online courtesy of Boy Genius Report.  Not the whole roster mind you, just a few tent-pole releases that are sure to garner much of the attention. As it appears, Verizon has decided to offer the Galaxy S III as part of their summer/fall Android lineup.  This is notable if only because the carrier passed on the Galaxy S II last year and focused on the Galaxy Nexus instead. T-Mobile’s new Huawei-manufactured myTouch spotted at the FCC, coming this summer?


  It looks like the rumors were true, folks – Huawei becoming the third manufacturer of T-Mobile’s myTouch line of phones in a year (after HTC and LG)  has pretty much been confirmed in these FCC documents found earlier today. The FCC has approved the Huawei U8680, which has in several places been referred to as the T-Mobile myTouch. HTC J is now official, coming to Japan during the summer

  The device was a mystery until a couple of days ago. The official HTC Japanese website let the info leak through its hands. It was quickly pulled from the site, but only to be officially announced the day after. The device is now scheduled for release during the summer (2012) for the Japanese Market. NVIDIA CEO: $199 Tegra 3 tablets could be a reality by summer


At CES NVIDIA and ASUS unveiled a 7-inch tablet with a quad-core Tegra 3 processor. The specs aren’t exactly special at this point in the game, but the pricing model was. The new slate would be hitting shelves at $ 250. Since then, rumors of the device becoming a Nexus-branded ASUS tablet in partnership with Google have mucked things up a bit, potentially driving the price to as low as $ 150 while sacrificing certain hardware elements that may or may not include the Tegra 3 chipset. Cleveland, New Orleans, and 10 additional markets to see AT&T LTE in summer


AT&T today announced that they will be expanding their 4G LTE network to another twelve markets this summer, including our hometown city of Canton, Ohio.  With no specific time frames listed or hinted at, AT&T does advise that they plan to roll it out "April, May and into the early summer". Sony brewing up a Snapdragon S4 handset for summer release?


  Sony’s latest batch of Xperia handsets feature some beautiful design work, but are unfortunately lacking when it comes to hardware. The best of the bunch, the Xperia S, sports a 720p HD display at 4.3-inches but on the processing side of things we get the dated Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 chip. Android 5.0 Jelly Bean Could Launch As Early As This Summer


  While some of you are still waiting around (possibly indefinitely) for Ice Cream Sandwich to land on your Android device, “inside sources” are reporting that Google could be ramping up development of the next version of Android 5.0 Jelly Bean, with a release sometime during the 2nd quarter of this year. ASUS Reveals HD Transformer Prime Won’t Reach UK Until Summer


  Those holding off on the currently available ASUS Transformer Prime in favor of the TF700T model and its HD display will be waiting a while from the sounds of a recent blog post by ASUS UK. While providing an update on the Transformer Prime TF2012′s GPS and WiFi woes, it was revealed that those in the United Kingdom can expect to wait until June or later to be able to purchase the updated model.
